This Privacy Policy applies to the website jorcindustrial.co.uk (the “Site”), owned and operated by GT Compressors Ltd trading as JORC Industrial UK (“we”, “us”, “our”). GT Compressors Ltd t/a JORC Industrial UK is the data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Different terms apply depending on whether you are purchasing as a consumer or as a business:

For users in the European Union, we comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (the “EU GDPR”).

Named third-party service providers
We work with the following trusted third-party providers who process data on our behalf:
- Opayo and WorldPay — payment processing. Both are PCI DSS compliant. We do not store your card details.
- Google Analytics — website analytics. Google Analytics collects anonymised data about how visitors use our Site. This data is processed in accordance with Google’s privacy policy. We have enabled IP anonymisation within Google Analytics to limit the personal data processed. Where required, your consent is obtained before analytics cookies are set. For users in the UK and European Economic Area, we comply with Google Consent Mode v2 requirements.
- Delivery and logistics providers — to arrange dispatch and delivery of your orders
- Website hosting and IT service providers — who host and maintain our Site and its infrastructure
- Email and communications platforms — used to send order confirmations, account notifications and, where consented to, marketing emails
All third-party processors are contractually required to process your data securely, only for the specified purpose, and in compliance with applicable data protection law. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
Other disclosures
We may disclose your personal data without your consent only in the following circumstances:

- Order and transaction records — minimum 6 years, in accordance with HMRC requirements
- Account data — for as long as your account remains active, plus a reasonable period thereafter
- Enquiry and contact form data — up to 2 years
- Marketing consent records — for as long as you remain subscribed, plus a reasonable period for compliance purposes
- Automatically collected analytics data — in accordance with our Google Analytics retention settings, currently set to 26 months
When data is no longer required it is securely deleted or permanently anonymised.

Under the UK GDPR you have the following rights:

We will respond to all valid requests within one calendar month. In complex cases we may extend this by a further two months, in which case we will notify you. There is no charge for making a request unless requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive.

Section 12 — Children
Our Site is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@jorcindustrial.co.uk and we will delete the relevant data as soon as possible. Parents or guardians may contact us on behalf of a child.

Unsubscribing from marketing will not affect transactional communications related to your orders or account.
